Welcome—request protection of a page, file, or template here. | ||
---|---|---|
Before requesting, read the protection policy. Full protection is used to stop edit warring between multiple users or to prevent vandalism to high-risk templates; semi-protection and pending changes are usually used to prevent IP and new user vandalism (see the rough guide to semi-protection); and move protection is used to stop pagemove revert wars. Extended confirmed protection is used where semi-protection has proved insufficient (see the rough guide to extended confirmed protection) After a page has been protected, it is listed in the page history and logs with a short rationale, and the article is listed on Special:ProtectedPages. In the case of full protection due to edit warring, admins should not revert to specific versions of the page, except to get rid of obvious vandalism.
Request protection of a page, or increasing the protection level
Request unprotection of a page, or reducing the protection level
Request a specific edit to a protected page
Please request an edit directly on the protected page's talk page before posting here |

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing. Mike Allen 20:04, 3 April 2025 (UTC)
Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – mostly from IP users. 𝙳.𝟷𝟾𝚝𝚑 (𝚃𝚊𝚕𝚔) 20:28, 3 April 2025 (UTC)
Reason: Disruptive editing by vandal who keeps listing shows that are not produced by Three Angels Broadcasting Network. Catfurball (talk) 23:31, 3 April 2025 (UTC) Their website for 3ABN Kids Network does not list secular kids shows. Catfurball (talk) 15:44, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
Temporary semi-protection: The term end date in the infobox is constantly changed, sometimes as 23, sometimes as 26. This is not correct, because another date remains in the article text, the template shows another date. That's why it needs to be protected. Sincerely, Gadir (talk) 00:34, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
Semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing. Skitash (talk) 02:12, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
Indefinite extended confirmed protection: Arbitration enforcement – Per the first remedy of WP:ARBPIA5. JJPMaster (she/they) 02:37, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
Reason: IP is edit warring over the past few days since March 29 and removing cited content to push Fringe POV. Talk page discussion opened and IP provides no reason for their edit aside from that they don't like it. They can change IP address too. Edits are clearly disruptive and is aware of WP:BRD, but does not discuss actual issues in talk. Seems to be misusing BRD. Ramos1990 (talk) 03:01, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
Temporary full protection: Content dispute/edit warring – They have been at this for a few weeks....let's force all to talk before there is multiple editors being blocked. Moxy🍁 03:28, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
Temporary pending changes: Persistent disruptive editing – Persistent addition of self-published work from IP hopper. Lone-078 (talk) 06:19, 4 April 2025 (UTC)

Semi-protection. Niasoh ❯❯❯ Wanna chat? 07:46, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
Reason: Persistent IP vandalism with adding misinformation, in particular inaccurate episode titles. Harryhenry1 (talk) 07:48, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
Reason: Persistent unsourced content additions and disruptive editing, primarily from IPs. Magitroopa (talk) 08:32, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
- IPs are still persistently adding unsourced content, despite multiple reverts from other editors. Magitroopa (talk) 17:49, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
- Rasht (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)
- Sefid-Rud (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

Indefinite extended confirmed protection: Arbitration enforcement – Another WP:ARBPIA relevant article. Thanks!. Smallangryplanet (talk) 10:15, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
Temporary pending changes: Persistent vandalism – Not all recent IP edits are clearly bad faith. Entranced98 (talk) 10:40, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
Semi-protection: BLP policy violations. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 12:02, 4 April 2025 (UTC)

Pending changes: Persistent vandalism. Filmssssssssssss (talk) 13:26, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
Semi-protection: Persistent sockpuppetry – Block evasion by socks of Yamamomo kakijiroo (see Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Yamamomo kakijiroo/Archive), promotional socks targeting Naver Corporation. Looks like they just noticed that semiprotection expired last week. MrOllie (talk) 13:28, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
Indefinite extended confirmed protection: Persistent disruptive editing – Article of an extremist and fringe political party in the UK repeatedly targetted through an off-wiki campaign by party members to downplay and remove its extremist ties (yes, neo-Nazism). The party founder himself has been blocked for this [1].
Autoconfirmed clearly does not work (see this edit for e.g. and the extensive canvassing by new confirmed users at Talk:Homeland_Party_(United_Kingdom)#Ideology or the whole Talk and article history really). An ECP is clearly needed and considering the extensive campaign here, going back years, temporary simply won't ebb it we need a permanent solution if WP:NONAZIS is any guide. Gotitbro (talk) 13:40, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – More IP editors persistently re-adding unsourced and sometimes outright fake endorsements, and party policy positions three or more years out of date, which have been repeatedly reverted. Has been slow but ongoing since last protection was lifted. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 13:47, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
Semi-protection: Persistent vandalism. Filmssssssssssss (talk) 14:24, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
Indefinite semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – Vandalism from IPs adding false information. MileyCytrus (talk) 14:39, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
Semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – Ongoing block evasion and addition of unsourced content; page recently unprotected but now subject to same disruptive editing after end of block. ser! (chat to me - see my edits) 15:00, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
Temporary semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing – Persistent disruptive editing by anonymous editor(s). livelikemusic (TALK!) 15:23, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
Indefinite extended confirmed protection: Arbitration enforcement – WP:ARBPIA. 🌙Eclipse (she/they/all neos • talk • edits) 17:26, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
- I do not think this is an unambiguous ARBPIA case, and I do not see any recent disruption. I would decline at the moment but it is probably good to wait for a second opinion. Ymblanter (talk) 19:58, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
Indefinite semi-protection: Highly visible page. Should be indef following his permanent removal. 🗽Freedoxm🗽(talk · contribs) 20:27, 4 April 2025 (UTC)

Current requests for reduction in protection level
Before posting, first discuss with the protecting admin on their talk page. Post below only if you receive no reply.
- To find out the username of the admin who protected the page, click on "history" at the top of the page, then click on "View logs for this page," which is under the title of the page. The protecting admin is the username in blue before the words "protected", "changed protection level" or "pending changes". If there are a number of entries on the log page, you might find it easier to select "Protection log" or "Pending changes log" from the dropdown menu in the blue box.
- Requests to downgrade full protection to template protection on templates and modules can be directed straight here; you do not need to ask the protecting admin first.
- Requests for removing create protection on redlinked articles are generally assisted by having a draft version of the intended article prepared beforehand.
- If you want to make spelling corrections or add uncontroversial information to a protected page, please add {{Edit fully-protected}} to the article's talk page, along with an explanation of what you want to add to the page. If the talk page is protected, please use the section below.
Check the archives if you cannot find your request. Only recently answered requests are still listed here.
Current requests for edits to a protected page
Please request an edit directly on the protected page's talk page before posting here
Ideally, requests should be made on the article talk page rather than here.
- Unless the talk page itself is protected, you may instead add the appropriate template among
{{Edit protected}}
,{{Edit template-protected}}
,{{Edit extended-protected}}
, or{{Edit semi-protected}}
to the article's talk page if you would like to make a change rather than requesting it here. Doing so will automatically place the page in the appropriate category for the request to be reviewed. - Where requests are made due to the editor having a conflict of interest (COI; see Wikipedia:Suggestions for COI compliance), the
{{Edit COI}}
template should be used. - Requests to move move-protected pages should be made at Wikipedia:Requested moves, not here.
- If the discussion page and the article are both protected preventing you from making an edit request, this page is the right place to make that request. Please see the top of this page for instructions on how to post requests.
- This page is not for continuing or starting discussions regarding content should both an article and its discussion page be protected. Please make a request only if you have a specific edit you wish to make.
I would like to request that... (A change be made following the text “Elon Musks acquisition of X was seen as controversial due to increase hate speech on the platform” to also include “Of which is a product of musks more conservative approach to moderation of which he claims “Allows free speech” Or any rendition of his rational reasoning to make this change to allow free speech as that was the big reason and why it’s so controversial. With this change it will become less bias and not only include what he did but also why he decided to do it). 2A02:C7E:3013:3E00:1F5:3768:49E4:443A (talk) 21:54, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
