[edit]- In Chinese slang, the number 250 means 'idiot' (spelled as èr bái wǔ/ㄦˋ ㄅㄞˇ ㄨˇ).[2] The Gulfstream G280 was originally the G250, and was renamed for this reason.[3]

Chinese has plenty of other number-based slang, such as erbaiwu, or "250," which means "idiot," or "38," pronounced sanba, which means "bitch." There are even some streets in China that skip house number 250.
